The end of Lammyjammy and future adventures!

Day 7

Well folks, it kind of an off day for me, with not much happening at Lammyjammy. I've got to check out of my hotel, and on to another, on the other side of town. In case your wondering why, when I booked this hotel many moons ago, I booked just the Friday and Saturday nights. It allowed me more flexibility on what I was doing, and I'd not really decided on what my plans were. Room rates change(as I found out), so for Sunday night I had to book somewhere else.

The weather is holding, which is nice. Anyway as usual, I go get a coffee so I'm at least half awake as I finish yesterdays blog. Now it's
time to pack up, and to get ready for the dreaded travel laundry day.
Actually, it's not too bad. Making everything fit in the bike was a bit of a challenge, as I picked up a few things at Lammyjammy, but I finally got it done.

The first thing I have to do is check the tire pressure on that rear tire. It looks like it's holding. So I'm good to go for now. Next thing I do,  is to hit up a auto parts place and buy a plug kit. Done. Then I head over to Wallyworld to go to the eyeglass shop to get some pieces for my spare sunglasses.  I find out that all eyeglass stores are closed on Sunday. Hopefully I'll remember to take them in sometime during the week.

By this time, I'll head over to my motel for the night and see if I can get an early check in. I get a room by the pool, settle in and then head back out for the dreaded laundry day.

As far as laundry mats go, this one's nice. So I'm in and out pretty fast.

Not to busy, but closes early at 5 pm on Sundays, so I'm glad I got there when I did.

Sunday is also cheat day on my diet. So I decide of Chinese. The Chinese takeaway next door might have had something to do with it. Since I've got time anyway, I google the reviews on the "Dragon" next door. I'm glad I did, they were not too good, but a place 5 minutes down the road was a lot better. With laundry done, I head down the road and pick up my Chinese takeaway.

Back to the motel, unload, have some dinner and update the blog on my quiet day. I did decide to head down to Atlantic City. Hotwire finally came in with a rate at a Casino (though not on the boardwalk) at $36 + $30 resort fee. Which I'm ok with. So tomorrow I'll head down to Atlantic City and hit up a dealer on looking into a new back tire.

Mileage 50 miles (maybe)
